Sourdough Starter Kit with Instructions,Two Proofing Cloths and Sourdough English Muffin Recipe. Here is what you will receive: This Sourdough Starter Kit is put together by Northwest Sourdough. Included is a bag of dried starter flakes, activation instructions and two woven plaid proofing cloths and a special three page Sourdough English Muffins Recipe / with pictures. The starter was cultured in the Pacific Northwest and makes the most wonderful, holey, delicious San Francisco type breads. It is also great for all Whole Grains and Rye breads. Easy to follow activation instructions are included for the starter as well as links for recipes and instructions. Here is a picture of Basic Sour White and here is a picture of Sour Whole Wheat. Each cloth is a nice size 21.5" x 24" and has a rolled edge. They are a Cotton/ Polyester blend and are preshrunk so there will be no shrinkage and they wash up beautifully. Their main use is for lining the basket or bowl and sprinkling with flour to proof bread dough.(This allows you to turn your loaf out onto the bread peel and into the oven.) Showing off your bread is another use! Besides the starter activation instructions I will send you a recipe for Sourdough English Muffins! They are scrumptious! Not many people can make these!
